    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course is super interesting and doesn't have a very heavy reading load or workload. I though the prof did a really good job at trying to incorporate class participation even though it was a relatively large class.

    Course highlights:

This course was great in explaining how the environment can affect us and how the environment or our surroundings affect the way in which we perceive ourselves and form self-identities; and how the culture and values we are taught may make people deviant or criminals. I really enjoyed the fact that we looked at a lot of real life cases and studies of criminals that put the theories we learned into context.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to pay attention in class and take notes. Reading the textbook is really important as well but a lot of the test material comes from her lectures which are NOT word for word from the textbook.
