Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Available, Yet Pricey – There is an incredible variety of off-campus housing in downtown Toronto. Co-ops, apartments in homes, high-rises and condos are all viable options. Finding affordable, close housing is fairly competitive.

    Course highlights:

I have rarely felt unsafe on the University of Toronto's campus. The campus areas are well lit and speckled with emergency phone beacons and campus police. The university offers a walk-safe program for those uncomfortable with travelling alone.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

That being said, U of T's St. George campus is nestled amongst downtown Toronto. That means that a plethora of issues which are generally absent from campuses are close by - drugs, homelessness, mentally ill individuals, violence.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Co-ops, apartments in homes, high-rises and condos are all viable options. Finding affordable, close housing is fairly competitive, but there's always something for someone if they're prepared to put in lots of effort looking.

    Course highlights:

Someone called campus police on suspicious grounds, and luckily they were arrested before anything happened. That being said, U of T's St. George campus is nestled amongst downtown Toronto.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

That's the biggest issue with our school; because campus buildings are distributed randomly amongst the city, one must cross areas like homeless shelters, centres for the mentally ill and other questionable parts of town to get to class.
