    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The assignments were much easier, considering in years past that we had to use OS161. The assignments enabled me to learn more about Virtual Machines and apply my knowledge on them. The material is well explained and we thought out. Overall, I would recommend having Bogdan and this course as it was a pleasure to participate.

    Course highlights:

The use of VMs over coding with OS161. Learning about the file systems commonly used in more recent machines. Coding and testing our own buffer replacement policy from scratch.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the readings. As in this course, they tend to reach from all the documents provided. Some info only appeared in the readings and would show on the midterm and exam. As well, the readings provided another source for when I was not understanding a concept well enough. This was especially true when learning about the different filesystems.
