Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I couldn't recommend this subject enough. Dr. Charles is the most thorough, passionate, and well learned lecturer I have ever come across and absolutely blows other's out of the water. He walks you through the information, and sets up questions for you to answer. These are after all, the most efficient way to learn

    Course highlights:

The highlights have been learning about the effects of membrane permeability on ion movement, leading to Action Potentials, ultimately. It's so fun and engaging learning in charles' lectures and I've had the best time so far.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would suggest writing notes in lectures, and then revisiting the topics the day after, otherwise, as it is an information dense course, a lot of the info will go over your head and you'll fall behind. This is easy unavoidable but consistent revision (I know that's what they all say) but you can get away with it for other subjects and not this one! You will really enjoy it if you're on top of the workload!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

He makes everything very enjoyable. You can tell that he loves what he does, even though he doesn't get paid enough for it. He makes the content very understandable, almost easy. It feels like a walk in the park in his lectures, but when you have to do it on your own, suddenly the park is a cemetery and you're surrounded by zombies. By far the best lecturer I have ever had. Makes me consider majoring in Physiology.

    Course highlights:

The whole experience was a highlight. there never seemed to be a dull moment. you would think that learning about how the body functions must get tiresome. but his method of teaching and keeping the students engaged should be considered an art. 2nd year physiology is kind of a bit of everything. You do the basics and cover the entire body and the way it functions. It builds on year 12 biology is some ways. Although he may make it seem like an easy subject, you need to put in the effort to see good results.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Just put in the work. Do the modules he provides and show up to the lectures (doesn't even seem like a chore tbh). You'll enjoy studying for this subject, just remember to keep up.
