    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Calculus is a broad mathematical topic and is often a prerequisite for many future courses and jobs. The skills you learn in this class can be very useful no matter the faculty you're in. It is also an excellent way to develop creative problem-solving skills. I never thought I would find any good from this class, but aside from all the equations and algebra, I have learned how to come up with creative solutions for problems that would otherwise be quite stressful.

    Course highlights:

I've found that this course really helps to develop problem-solving skills, which is a talent that is crucial in any faculty or job. It really expands your way of thinking. It definitely teaches you to organize your time efficiently, and the mental math skills I developed in this class have already made a huge difference in my life.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to find at least an hour every day to practice. Math is all very cumulative and if you find that you are falling behind or don't understand a topic then it is extremely important to solve that issue as soon as possible. Open tutors are an excellent resource, and there are many online sites and apps devoted to these kinds of things.
