    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is a fairly difficult course which requires a lot more work than other courses! If you don't require it, DO NOT take it. Also make sure to attend lectures, not only for knowledge, but its the only way to get info (she doesn't post completed ppt--you get bare bones ppt).

    Course highlights:

Gases, Energy and Chemical Change, Kinetics, Equilibrium, Acids and Bases, Solubility, Electro Chem

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Keep on top of all materials (lectures, readings, practise textbook questions). Do old exams. The midterms are very tricky with wording. Even though you may have concept down--they try and mess with your mind with the questions

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Great introduction to chemistry, and has a great teaching team!

    Course highlights:

Engaging professors that are willing to help you not only in chemistry, but also in professional development in terms of research opportunities.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do as many practice problems as you can, and be ready to use your brain rather than just equations. Dr. Marriot will definitely help you out in any questions you might have!
