    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The information given is so interesting it really broadens your horizons about the individual in society. You learn new information that changes your perspective of the world altogether, you see how different and alike you are from those of the same or different cultures from you. It's information that will increase your basic knowledge about society which is really useful in this diverse world. It's a great informational class, I highly recommend it!

    Course highlights:

A highlight had to be watching the videos and just listening as to how basic normal events that you witness everyday have different meanings in other places around the world such as making eye contact. It shows a sign of respect in America as compared to eye contact in Asia, Latin America and Africa where it is taken on as more of a challenge of authority. That is one of the many things I learned which I found extremely interesting because it's so common to my culture yet can be considered as an insult to others.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this course be sure to have the proper materials and just watch the lectures online which could be found on YouTube under CSUDH. Reading the information from the textbook and watching the lectures will provide you with much information allowing you to pass the class when it comes to the tests because you will be filled with information, but if you aren't a sponge who soaks up information be sure to take notes!
