    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

My course was about men and masculinity in medieval times and how gender norms affected them. I previously took a course with the same professor on science fiction and femininity, so it was interesting exploring the topic of men and how they too are affected by the norms of their society.

    Course highlights:

I loved the section on Tolkien, and also reading Shakespeare's King Henry IV Part I. We watched "My Own Private Idaho" which had dialogue from the play in it, and I wrote some of my best research papers in this class.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the materials, go to the professor when you're confused or need help, start your papers early and read the professor's feedback. It will help you succeed with your future coursework!
