    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Highly recommeded! i took this module as part of my core modules for Real Estate during my Year 1 Semester 1. This module is a straightforward introduction to finance in general and also basic real estate finance. A financial calculator is required and mastering how to use it would be very useful for examinations.

    Course highlights:

This module equips students with the basic financial skills and knowledge necessary for further studies in real estate finance and investment. The topics include money and interest rates; financial markets and financial institutions; risks and returns; capital budgeting; basic accounting statement and financial indicators; financial securities; shareholder and capital structures.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Assessment modes: 2 midterm exams, 1 take-home assignment, 1 tutorial-based project, 1 final exam Midterm exam format: Open book, MCQ questions which are mostly calculation-based. Final exam format: Open book, short answers which are calculation-based.
