    | Would recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It was a fun, informative, pretty easy course. It is great for people interested in science who haven't taken many science courses. Nice prof.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were the in-class discussions on different science/ethical matters. We had a mini-debate on GMO vs. anti-GMO. It was interesting, but could have been organized better.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class! The prof expects this, and engagement by all students makes the entire class better.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I love sci-fi and took a lot of science in high school, but the course honestly just feels like a dry biology course. Not a lot of relevance to actual science fiction asides from a few genetic related stuff. If you really like just straight up biology it'd be good for you though.

    Course highlights:

Lots of genetic related stuff, DNA, a bit of forensics.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

There's a lot of technical science teminology in this, no textbook.
