    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I wouldn't recommend taking her class because she is very strict and doesn't know how to teach her concepts of thinking and she punishes you by giving you bad grades and when you go and ask for help she doesn't know how to explain it either.

    Course highlights:

I didn't learn anything and the highlight of the course is that a lot of people failed her first test and everyone was sad about it and we complained to her so that she can curve it.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Advice pay attention to her lectures and make sure you do the readings if you don't show up prepared you are done there is no excuses for her and she will not allow you to pass if you don't put the effort.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it gives you tools to be a better critical thinker or, in my case, makes you begin to critically think about the world and about yourself. What influences your thinking, and why you do the things you do.

    Course highlights:

I learned who my influencers were and I why I do some of the things I do. The greatest highlight was acknowledging myself as an individual; a whole much greater then the sum of its parts.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Really Really Really Read The Book. Cant stress that enough. Read the book and study for the weekly quizzes.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is definitely for people who like to think and be curious. It definitely is critical thinking. This professor pushed us to be extremely open minded and not just that, but to ask questions that I would have never thought to ask before. When this professor asked a question and somebody answered, she would then say "but why?". This method allowed me to think more thoroughly about my answers and to make important and clear connections, not just say the first thing that came to my head. I will admit at first I felt this professor was very difficult and she is, but she knows what she knows what she is doing, and just wants her students to get a real learning experience.

    Course highlights:

I learned to always ask questions. And to always think about the answer. Does it make sense? Does it answer every part of the question? Do I have evidence? This is something that I can use when I take other courses.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready for a lot of reading, re-reading, highlighting, and very long class discussions. And make sure that when you give an answer, you can also explain WHY that is your answer.
