Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because in the future you might have to present a speech in front of a lot of people and this class helps you sound confident and credible.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to be confident while talking in public. I also learned how to write three different types of speeches, informative, argumentative, and persuasive. I think this class is a requirement for your future.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Be confident and remember that when talking in public you have to consider the type of audiences you'll come across.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Communications allows you to develop skills that will help you for the rest of your life. Most career jobs will require you to interact with others, and it's important to be confident in that sense.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to properly develop and deliver controverial, informative, and persuasive speeches. I loved being able to learn in a different method than usual, which was hands-on by actually getting up in front of an audience and speaking aloud.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Practice your speeches before delivering them to build your confidence. Ask a friend to help you and time your speech. Be sure to do both a full-sentence outline and a summarized outline. Do not read the speech off the paper word for word, always keep your eye contact and hand movements towards the audience.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

She is the best public speaking teacher. You do improve in every speech that you present in front of the class. You get the best feedback and she helps you what you need the most help with to keep your preparation for presentations to become better.

    Course highlights:

I liked how she helped us work on our vocal cords and how we watched actual videos to see what speaking is appropriate and what not. She also took the million pages from the book and summarized it into a few slides in a powerpoint.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely present your speech to someone more than once. Do work on your timing because it will really help your grade in the long run!
