    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course enlightens your learning by exploring the career of music therapy. It offers an introduction to the literature and practice of music therapy with an emphasis on the diversity of music therapy applications such as bio-medical, psychoanalytical, behavioural and rehabilitation. The midterms and exams are pretty straight forward and questions are similar to past assessments.

    Course highlights:

The lectures were very engaging as they provided multiple perspective on music therapy. There were many videos and audio recordings shown in class that engaged us in the methods of music therapy. I learned the process of becoming a music therapist, the methods of practicing music therapy, and the many many successful results of music therapy. The professor was very engaging and even brought out her guitar to demonstrate some of the techniques used in music therapy!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would definitely recommend going to class and engaging in the content. It is useful to listen to the lecture and walk out of class with the main concepts that you learned since those are the ones that are tested. I would also recommend looking at your past midterms to study for the exam since questions were reused!
