Great Intro to the Subject
Not too easy. Not too difficult.
It's a great intro to cellular biology and is interesting with lots to learn. Some of it is review from high school so it is great review for things you might have forgotten, but it also goes more in depth so you still learn new things. It provides a look into cellular biology, so anybody interested in that should take the course, and it is required for a biology major but many other science courses as well. Dr. Golsteyn is also a great professor; he really explains things and is willing to answer all questions. He is friendly and funny, and makes the effort to make sure that students understand what is being taught.
Why learning this course you learn some basic concepts of biology, the properties of water, cells and cellular processes, photosynthesis, cellular respiration, evolution, mitosis and meiosis, DNA and genetics, and we also took a look at theories and the scientists that contributed to each topic.
