    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is not an easy course and requires a lot of study time. The passing rate for this professors class is low so as a student you definitely have to put the time. If Finance 120 is a required course to take I would recommend a different teacher if you struggle with learning material on your own. Majority of the material you will have to go back to the text book to read and practice the material, the instructor gives you vague information.

    Course highlights:

Although the class has been difficult I actually learned a lot. I dedicated a lot of time and effort in the course and gained a lot of knowledge that is very beneficial. I learned the main concepts of stocks, how to buy and sell. In addition, I learned the importance of investing in mutual funds, bonds, or stocks for the future.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

For future students I recommend to not to procrastinate to study for exams. I myself am a big procrastinator and I quickly learned that in this class in order to pass and succeed, you cannot procrastinate. Study in advance, problems and examples from the book and i also highly recommend study groups.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I took this course online and it was fairly easy. I received an A and found the group projects enhanced the course material. If you do take this class make sure you stay on top of bi-weekly quizzes, especially if you take it online.

    Course highlights:

There are two group projects, which are designed to educate you beyond the text material. You are asked to apply financial principles to real world problems, a very valuable learning experience.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

There are quizzes and homework assignments due on a regular schedule, but if it is an online course they can be easy to forget. He does not offer makeups so set a reminder for the due dates to avoid losing easy points.
