Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class is very challenging yet rewarding. It is a visual language but you learn why the language is composed using signs and facial expressions. I have learned a lot of material in one semester and have also become more educated in Deaf culture.

    Course highlights:

I learned that American Sign Language is very diverse and is different depending on region and country. I also learned about the language and how expressive it can be.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I advise students to join a study group because it does require consistent practice and usage of the language. A study group would also help people practice any signs that they forgot or to implement the language in conversation.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Rosemary makes the class fun and interactive. You learn so much and actually have fun while doing it.

    Course highlights:

My highlights of the course would definitely be the Gallaudet protests because it dispelled some common myths

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Attending class and paying attention to the lecture is very important. You have to want to learn in order to learn anything.
