Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Computers are going to be the future of mankind, and having the ability to program will set you apart from your peers. Soon, if you are a computer programmer, people are going to think you have some sort of magical powers. I think computer programming is the closest thing we have to a superpower. Therefore since this course will teach you computer programming, and most importantly to think like a programmer, it will greatly benefit you in the long run.

    Course highlights:

I learned Java programming and the thinking patterns of computers so I can think like a computer programmer. It was a very illuminating experience because learning to think like a computer programmer helped me develop a new approach to solving problems, which I believe has greatly enhanced my problem solving ability.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to the professor's office hours, form study groups. And practice, the only way to get better at programming is to program. And start assignments early so you will have time for other courses. Procrastination is the number one killer for grades in this course. In fact it can be the number one killer for grades for all courses, so eliminate bad study habits and do not procrastinate.
