Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class requires a lot of studying, whether its reading the book or going to studying sessions, but it is all fair amounts of work, and he helps you if you are falling behind. Going to classes is a must.

    Course highlights:

the classes were very informative. He isnt the best speaker in the world, but as long you pay attention, there is a lot to learn.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to classes, that is the number 1 way to pass his classes, because everything he says is what he'll allow on the test.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it gives you an understanding of how our country works and makes decisions. Also, the professor was great and very knowledgeable.

    Course highlights:

I learned so much about how both our state and national governments work. Politics don't seem as far off and boring as most people think after learning so much interesting information about them.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to start study guides as early as possible as they are key to passing all three tests and the course itself.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was a somewhat challenging course, due to the high volume of information that we had to learn, but it was of course necessary. IT is so vital that we as citizens understand our rights and how our government works. If we don't, we may miss out on opportunities to change things in our country. Professor Murdock always tried to make the class interesting. He encouraged discussion and gave us tools to help us remember the material. IT was also very nice to have him as our professor because he has real-life experience in politics, as he was Mayor of a nearby city AND is currently running for US Representative of the 39th district. He is able to teach us and impart knowledge based on actual experience, rather than just using material only paper.

    Course highlights:

The class discussions were always fun, albeit sometimes heated. It was also very interesting and sometimes fun to hear of our professors personal experiences in politics.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise that students take the class seriously. It may not grab your attention right away, but the information you learn in the course is so critical and necessary in order to participate in our countries future. Do the reading, and raise your hand and make a comment or ask a question! Participation is highly encouraged, and makes the class alot more fun.
