    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This was a really difficult class; however, the professor did a really good job at teaching the content. The class consists of a lot of reading and tax laws, but really interesting and detailed information to learn.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course was probably the group project. You have to do a tax return for a fake individual. You learn so much in the class. Tax laws regarding individuals, partnerships, and corporations.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read your book! Everything you need to know is in the book so actually taking the time to read each chapter and take notes on every chapter because there are so many tax regulations to memorize.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

She is a great professor. She gives a lot of examples which are similar to exam questions. You learn a lot in this course. It is very challenging though!!!

    Course highlights:

I definitely learned a lot about the tax rules. They are both interesting and confusing because many rules may differ depends on the situation. There are so many exceptions!!! For example, when situation A happens, the income would be ordinary income; however, when situation B happens, it would be a capital income. You need to know when to apply the rules!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read! Practice! Redo the examples in the slides. They are very helpful! DON'T procrastinate!!!
