    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Math 150B is one of the harder classes that you will take in your college career (depending on your major). It is highly recommended that you dedicate a few hours to this course in order to achieve a decent grade. While she is difficult, the material that you will retain from taking this class (and succeeding) will last you a very long time.

    Course highlights:

In this course, you mostly learn new techniques for the integral (and there is a lot of memorization to be had), but other than material on power series, integral and arc length techniques, there really isn't that much more to do in this class.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

It would be recommended to study everyday if you can for this course due to the amount of memorization that you must spend in learning the material.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend taking this course with Mrs. Lewis since she is very clear in her teaching, makes very fair tests, and always takes time to help students who come to her. She also provides many extra credit opportunities. Calculus 2 is quite fun with this professor.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was how approachable Mrs. Lewis was when I needed help as well as all the extra credit opportunities she would provide us. We as a class made great efforts to create a friendly environment.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not wait until the last day to study before a test. The concepts need to be studied several days in advance. Also, do not skip out on homework. The homework is very relevant to the material and will help you understand the concepts. Mrs. Lewis provides many extra credit opportunities that can add up so take full advantage of them. Also, go to the Supplemental Instruction classes as you will get much more practice and learn from other students.

I love this professor and although the subject is very challenging, Professor Lewis makes it very fun.

    Advice for students:

Go to SI and study very hard, this class is the toughest in the calculus sequence.
