    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would not recommend it at all if you are not a math major. If you have to take it then that definitely sucks unless you love math. This math course involves a lot of word problems which has tripped up a lot of people. So many have flunked the course and have had to retake it again and I am one of those people.

    Course highlights:

The only highlight was getting extra credit opportunities or getting donuts on the final. I learned a lot about exponential numbers, growth and decay factors, and logarithms but the word problems made the questions difficult to answer.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely pay attention in class and do all of the work. There is no room for error or slacking. You need to stay on task and find a way to keep yourself motivated especially when getting the homework done because there's always so much to do and it feels endless. This course is dreadful in the amount of time it consumes so prepare yourself for that and don't take this course unless it is absolutely mandatory.
