Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Not only was the course extremely educational, but the professor was knowledgable as well! The material is everything but easy, but work hard and you will leave as a financial accountant in training.
The book was very easy to read, as it outlined and bolded everything you needed to know. Hatton's attendance checks in the form of questions about the homework held you accountable (a pun, I know) while keeping you refreshed and in-the-know. I finished this course with a solid 95% and a totally new outlook on the accounting world.

Advice for students:
Take the course seriously, and listen to Hatton thoroughly. Take notes, and participate in the lecture questions. Forming a study group is a big plus, and come into the course with an open mind and a willingness to learn an entirely new subject! Office hours are one of the most helpful things you can do to pass with a great grade.
