Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Kenny is very helpful in further explaining difficult math concepts and is willing to come earlier than class to help struggling students. He doesn't speed through the chapters, but he stays long enough on each section for each student to understand before he clears us for the next section.

    Course highlights:

The ability to have a short lesson everyday, that covered section by section. The helpful extra credit practice questions for the exams were extremely useful and most of the class was very engaged in learning.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You do need to study for his class, it's not that easy. Also, going to class everyday is necessary as each section is covered a day, five days a week. Doing the homework and participating in class discussions is very helpful and can make the learning process easier.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because of Professor Kwak. Pre-calculus can be difficult, but I think that he cared a lot about the students understanding and getting the material. He is extremely patient and willing to help students if they are struggling.

    Course highlights:

In this course we did do some group work, which I'm not usually too excited about, but I learned that when it comes to math group work can be helpful. In math, there tend to many different ways to solve a problem, and sometimes when you see it a different way than the way that you have been doing it, then it makes sense. I think that the group work in this class was extremely helpful!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I advise students to do the book homework and online homework as you learn the topics! Some people struggled right before tests of towards the end of the course because they procrastinated on the homework. He doesn't have homework turned in every lecture, he has all homework due as a packet right before the test!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Although challenging, this course, along with Ms. Garcia’s obvious intelligence, provides very important and essential information that many can use for a lifetime.

    Course highlights:

I gained a foundational understanding which prepared me to proceed to Calculus. This course is extremely beneficial in progressing to more challenging math courses.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I highly recommend studying efficiently by focusing on what you don't understand and seeking help specifically from a teacher or tutor, not just another friend.
