Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Cheryl is a industry veteran and currently runs her own design firm along with teaching. With some impressive design credits with movies like the Princess Bride, X-Files, Star Wars, and many more just ask her! she was bound to pick up a few tricks that she graciously shares with the class. She teaches you mostly everything you need to know about working in the movie industry whether it be Key Art Poster Design, Movie Title Treatments and even cobranding. You will have an amazing time in this class and learn alot of useful things. I assure you will not be disappointed.

    Course highlights:

I was introduced into using the program After Effects and it is a lot of fun, as well as better photoshop techniques. Also there was a lot of teamwork which was a great learning experience, the first assignment was to pair up and create a fictional design studio. Thats when I knew it was gonna be a great semester.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

The only thing that you need to do for this class is show up and you can pass it with ease, it is a lot of work but you get plenty of computer lab time in class to work on projects. You can pass the class with spotty attendance but you would definitely be missing out on some helpful information if Graphic Design is your true passion.
