    Course Overview:

    Dr. Ramirez is an excellent professor! She is passionate about the class and her powerpoints are very detailed that you barely need to study for the exams.

    Course highlights:

    She brought in relevant clinical cases into the course and really highlighted on the ESKAPE pathogens!

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Go to class and ask questions. She loves questions and is very receptive to students input.

    Course Overview:

    The course goes over the difficulty faced by the current generation of health care providers. From the mechanisms of antibiotic resistance to systems built to categorize and identify different pathogens, this course provides a clear and concise format to effectively understand the problems associated with antibiotic resistance.

    Course highlights:

    This course taught a large amount of microbiology that was based on the research of other groups. It went over journals and taught students how to read them effectively.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Take good notes, Dr. Ramirez has a large volume of information to give to you and will need your attention at all times.
