Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was a very interesting English course. Most of the things we wrote about were monsters, such as your inner monster, or vampires, we also read Dracula. I loved writing about things like this because it is different that other English courses and the content was fun to read.

    Course highlights:

The highlights for me were watching a movie about a criminal, and reporting on that. We also did reports on serial killers and whether or not they should be perceived as monsters. I loved doing the research on this topic. The teacher can be harsh, but she is also funny. If you do the work and know the content you should be fine.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared, and make sure to listen completely to the professor. She does not like to repeat herself. Read the material she gives you, she does not appreciate people who do not know what they are talking about. Put in the work and you should do great.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class has definitely helped improve my writing skills. In the beginning, I was very insecure and would not let anyone read my works and by the end of the semester, I opened up a little more. Eliza is great, will work with you for any questions you may have, and will give you the feedback you want.

    Course highlights:

The lectures were very fun and easy to follow and participation is highly recommended in this class. Eliza tries her best to make the class for the students by the students and does so by asking for our opinions to choose topics for an upcoming prompt. The writing prompts do increase in length and difficulty, but it is to help improve your writing.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

It would help a lot to do the readings assigned. They are discussed in class and the readings actually share a lot of good information. And of course be ready to participate each class session.
