    | Would not recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Very confusing and disappointing class, focused on statistics rather than psychology, yet the book is emphasized and not discussed.

    Course highlights:

Nothing. I learned how to do variance, but I learned that in statistics already so.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Show up, and take the quizzes. The tests barely mention the book or readings.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would not recommend this course if you don't like to read the book material and if you don't have time to watch the numerous videos that are assigned. Also, he doesn't post grades so you will never know what your grade is.

    Course highlights:

I have gained random facts from the course. Not particularly one big subject within the course. I learned a lot about the Cambridge Somerville study, the Stanford prison experiment by Philip Zimbardo, and other little experiments,

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This teacher is passionate about the subject, but his teaching methods are not particularly helpful to students. Luckily he does post a lot of helpful activities such as chapter quizzes and videos, but this class is more of a learn-it-on-your-own type of class.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it if you are a psych major, but other than that I would not recommend it. Some of the subjects are pretty tough to understand. The notes and reading the book are not enough for you to understand the subject.

    Course highlights:

In this course, you will learn for example why children are attached to their mothers, anxiety, phobias, drugs, and many other interesting topics on how our brain works.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to read the book too apart from the notes you take in class and if SI sessions are offered outside of class go to them. They will help. Also study at least a week or two before each exam because only a few days is not enough.
