    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it is literally just textbook reading with no significant assignments. If you test well, you'll do well in this course. A midterm, a final exam, and weekly quizzes make up your entire mark. Would recommend.

    Course highlights:

Gives you a really solid base knowledge of a whole bunch of psychological topics. I really like that, because I can decide what I enjoyed the most, and take a course about that specific strand of psychology later on.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the textbook and do the quizzes. You don't have to go to class that often.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was a great introduction to the field of psychology. It covers a vast subject area and the professor was extremely passionate. Although I was reluctant to attend lecture, when I did go I thoroughly enjoyed it.

    Course highlights:

Right from the beginning we learned about the history of psychology. From Behaviourism, to Freudian psychology to modern advancements in neuroscience. We learned about the different regions of the brain, the make up of the nervous system, how and why certain behaviours exist, different psychological disorders and much more. This course was also really great for transitioning into university. The exams were challenging but beneficial and the paper was a great tool for future classes.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to every lecture if you can. Also consider reading parts of the textbook that aren't covered in class because it is all very interesting. Ask as many questions as you can.
