Pretty easy, overall.
ENGG 1100 is an introductory design class that all engineers must take. Lectures are not too important in terms of content you must know- most of the stuff is logical, and applied concepts. Great term project- TBWC offers hands on work with real circuits and parts, and offers modelling in Solidworks. It also offers design basics such as aesthetics, ergonomics, etc and allows engineers to build up a final professional report. Great course, works to student advantage in boosting GPA.
Highlights were definitely the TBWC project. Learned about circuits using Arduino technology, as well as how to wire to power motors using capacitors, and resisters on a breadboard.

Advice for students:
Make sure you don't underestimate the importance of the final project. Competition day is when things fall apart- literally! Ensure final projects are ready and tested early well before the deadline and your success will entail!
