Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Course it not difficult this professor is incompanent with absolutely no idea what a consolidation is. When taking up consolidations it is literally pictures of the Consolidated F/S from the text book, she then adds journal entries and adds the numerical changes to come up with an overall end number. It is as if she has never participated in financial accounting before in her entire life.

    Course highlights:

Zero highlights, best advice never go to class she will confuse you to the point of failure; instead go to the library and do the back of the book questions over and over again.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

PRACTICE! PRACTICE! PRACTICE! Never go to class.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    Required for all accounting students.

    Course highlights:

Necessary skills for CPA. Consolidation, foreign operation, and not-for-profit.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

This is the last financial accounting course required, so you should not expect it to be easy. Consolidation and foreign operation are real tough topics. You should do the textbook problems. The professor is very approachable. She would give detailed explanations both during the class and through email. There is a case write-up assignment. My suggestion is that you should really spend some time on it because it helps you review for the final. The prof would also give you some advice on the assignment, if you ask. Too bad many people do not attend class.
