This course will provide the student with the ability to design, conduct, and evaluate empirical work in economics and other social sciences.
identification and estimation of simultaneous equations models; model specification and testing; estimation of discrete choice models; and the analysis of duration models. In addition to covering the relevant theoretical issues, the course includes the application of these methods to economic data.
