    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

    The course will help the the student understand the functioning and of a financial systems in an economy.

    Course highlights:

    money demand and money supply, inflation and the optimal quantity of money, the monetary policy transmission mechanism, the term structure of interest rates, strategies of monetary policy and optimal monetary policy, the time inconsistency problem in monetary policy, and monetary policy targets and rules.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    The course can be very easy especially if one has a strong macroeconomic background.
