    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Interesting class discussions and lectures. BUT be prepared for a lot of writing!

    Course highlights:

The course highlights the concepts of war, global politics, ngo's, the media, canadian and american politics in particular. It also references to modern news.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Try to go to every single lecture.. Tutorials are not really helpful (depends on your TA) but go to them since they count as your participation. In general this course requires a lot of your time, whether its reading, researching for your assignments in the library/on the internet, or writing long essays. Really interesting topics were covered and its a great intro course to global politics, the content wasn't necessarily difficult but it was a lot of work and assignments.
