Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Because the professor is awesome and really really smart. You will learn a lot of interesting things about how the brain works and how is it related to your behavior. Also, it will make you aware of the effects of drugs in your brain and keep you from taking them since you know how dangerous they are to your brain.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the brain and its parts, about the neurotransmitters and how everything you care about works in the synapsis. Also, how drugs affect the process of synapsis and your well-functioning as a human being.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't be absent to any class because you will be evaluated mainly on the professor's lectures. Read the book for additional information, but her tests are mainly based on what she taught during class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a fantastic class that is real, no BS, straight forward, and challenging but worth it. But you will not pass if you don't show up to class. The professor demands that you learn by being a great professor, she also cusses and talks about sex a lot. Its part of psychology, its part of life, its part of being an adult. I'm glad she doesn't ignore it. Must take class, very respectable professor and course.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part was learning about the human brain and seeing one in person

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

SHOW. UP. TO. CLASS. She gives extra credit randomly for being on time, she also gives quizzes randomly within the first 3min of class. No retakes, no makeups. She won't waste your time if you don't waste hers and she is honest about it.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Siciliani will be one of the most interesting professors you will EVER have! She's so entertaining and a great educator. Her examples and stories will stick with you forever! Every concept and everything you go over in her class can be applied to your life which is something that you don't get in all of your classes. She'll tell you what you should change to live a happy and healthier lifestyle and she'll even give you personal advice if you're willing to share with the class!

    Course highlights:

By taking this course I've gained helpful tips on changing little things in my life to make myself healthier and more successful. For example, Siciliani shared with us what we need to do to lose weight, how to easily remember a list of 15 things, how to effectively study, why we need to sleep in complete darkness, etc. She told us the consequences we would be facing if we didn't make these simple changes and it was greatly helpful.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You do not need the book. Just go to lecture! Everything that she goes over will be on the test. If she doesn't mention it, don't worry about it. Take good notes and pay close attention to not only what's on the PowerPoints but also what she's saying and trying to draw on the board.
