    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Super boring, standard Dotzel style classes, just a lot of formulas and plugging in to equations that get progressively longer. If you want to be an actuary, take it. Otherwise, don't.

    Course highlights:

interest rates, annuities, perpetuities, and more complex annuities. Can calculate what is a better deal for annuities and for getting money now or later. Maybe I will use it one day, but it's not a big deal to me. I don't want to be an actuary and I noticed that I didn't like this course.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Just do the homework, and figure out what the corrections mean when you get it back. You might miss little details otherwise. Lots of numbers and looking for accurate dollar values.
