    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I'd recommend this course because it opens ones eyes to the reality of our white dominated society, and helps one be proud of being something other than that. This class helps students understand the importance of Chicano pride and the Chicano legacy which ultimately adds to them as a student and makes them much more knowledgeable about the truth.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the facts. The professor exposed Anglos for trying to hide and keep the truth of what actually happened to America when the Mexican American war came to be. Most importantly, this course taught me that the system is rigged to keep us Chicanos from learning the truth and from being able to use that against our white dominated society. It also taught me to not be afraid of being different from white culture because Chicano culture is what makes changes and is phenomenal enough for the whites to want to hide it from everyone else.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say that you should definitely take this course, you'd be much more proud for being who you are and your eyes would be opened to the harsh conditions that Chicanos had to go through to make life better for us today. This course can be considered an easy A, but you'd have to participate, which makes everything better for everyone!
