Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it made me realize how much I like biology. It was an 8 am lecture yet it never felt like a drag to go and I never found myself distracted. He really knows how to hold the attention of the class. Most importantly he made concepts really easy to understand. He has an excelent way of teaching.

    Course highlights:

I learned more than I thought I would to be honest. I actually felt like I learned rather than just memorized material long enough to pass a test. I often times found the materal facsinating and seeing the professor excited to teach only made me more eager to learn. Cell division and cellular respiration were some of my favorite things to learn. They can be very complex but learning how it all comes together is amazing. This was my first biology course in college as a biology major and it reassured me that I made the right choice.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would higly suggest reading the chapters assigned before going to lecture even if its just a quick scan through the chapters. I'll be honest at first I didn't and I often times felt lost during lecture, so that was helpful for me. Also pay more attention to what he says and writes on the board rather than what he has on the powerpoint slides it tends to be more helpful, especially since he uploads the slides.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is a good and effective class that does require effort from one, but does not stress one out too much.

    Course highlights:

I have learned many specific things about biology that i had not known about before, such as biotechnology of how one makes a bacteria make proteins for one, and many more things like that down to the molecular level.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just study. Put in some hours to studying the material to pass the test and one will do just fine.
