    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The course is challenging but not too difficult. If completed AD Maths at a school level, I highly recommend it. The course directly relates to fundamental course work of all engineering faculties.

    Course highlights:

A lot of time was spent on integration which is vital for many other courses in the engineering faculty. A choice of 2 lecturers is always a bonus. There was also a lot of focus on graphs which apply directly to statistics and much of the data used in engineering.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Ensure that you attend all lectures. Pay attention in lectures and make notes. Each day go home and revise notes covered that day, and make sure it is all well understood. Use the textbook in conjunction with the study notes for better understanding. Ensure that you FULLY COMPLETE all tutorials each week. They are vital to doing well in the exams.
