    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I personally don't recommend taking this class as a general education course because it is a difficult course.

    Course highlights:

I learned that I definitely need help in math and any courses related to math. There's nothing wrong with how the professors teach but more of my lack of understanding with mathematical concepts. This course helps to familiarize on statistical concepts and how to utilize it not in regards with actual problem solving.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't miss lectures. She always gives crucial information for how to solve certain questions dealing with statistical tables on the test.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

A simple stats class that covers the statistic requirement for sociology and communication majors. The professor was very easy to understand and focuses more on the concepts and understanding what statistics mean rather than memorizing equations.

    Course highlights:

The professor allows you to retake one of the exams instead of having a final! Definitely helps if you didn't do so great on one of the tests.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

While the professor focuses more on the concepts of stats rather than the actual math DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THE DIFFICULTY. Concepts can seem very simple but it is very easy to get them mixed up as well. Definitely study hard before the exams and go to the review session!
