Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

His showings of the Daily Show and Colbert report as well as off campus invitations to students to discuss relevant current events spurred in me a love for political literacy (and satire). It showed me an entertaining way to say informed and engage with current events.

    Course highlights:

I learned to be aware and think critically about what is going on around me. To always dig deeper and ask questions when I am first presented with seemingly out of reach going ons of the world.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Develop a relationship with the professor in and out of the classroom. Those relationships will benefit you far more than simply engaging with the material. They are an expert - use them as a mentor. Focus on how this pertains to your life and career, and not just passing the exams or paper assignments.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a very interesting course that actually has real-life relevancy (something that is shockingly lacking in most college courses).

    Course highlights:

Professor Juergensmeyer is a very nice guy and strives to make his lectures entertaining and informative.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do all of the reading, it's the only way to get an A.
