    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Doug is a difficult professor, but he really encourages you to learn and is a very intelligent and knowledgeable guy about various different fields and aspects of life.

    Course highlights:

Gained a pretty good understanding of fundamental econometrics, touched on some slightly more advanced topics. Also gained a fundamental knowledge of EViews

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The homework assignments are a lot harder than the actual tests. They are designed to force you to try and think through difficult problems, rather than regurgitate what you learned in class. The first midterm was very easy, final was very tough. Everything is curved though. The lab assignments are not very difficult with your group. Stay on top of the material by going to Doug in office hours, it's the best way to learn everything.

    Hours per week:

    Advice for students:

Don't procrastinate on the project, keep up with the lectures and it should be easy enough.
