    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I feel that this course has made me a better, more culturally aware person. Professor Walsh is a great lecturer and the material is mostly interesting.

    Course highlights:

I learned about what culture means, and how it is established. I also learned how anthropology has evolved and improved.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study the key terms weekly as well as right before the midterm and final. Go to lecture, the exams have questions from lecture not just the textbook.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The class is set up for students to succeed. The midterm and final come straight from the readings and lecture. Lecture is almost unnecessary if you read the book.

    Course highlights:

This course is a very broad stroke over all things anthropology. I learned about ethics and the hoops anthropologists jump through to test on human subjects.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

If you don't want to go to lecture, skim the book and go to section.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It was a relatively easy class. As long as you do the readings and prepare for the exams the class is a breeze.

    Course highlights:

I learned all about the cultures of Mexico through professor Walsh's case studies.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are an incoming Freshman you should really consider this class, it is a great introduction into how a college class is run.
