This class was tough.
Course Overview:
If you need to take this course, then try to get a different teacher. Very hard statistics course. I did not understand much of it but I needed to take the class for my major. He takes attendance.
Course highlights:
There were not many highlights of the course. We learned all about Markov Chains, Stochastic Processes, Poisson Processes, and many other probability models.
Hours per week:
9-11 hours
Advice for students:
I would try to go to your TA's office hours every week. Also, the book was pretty helpful in explaining certain examples, so I recommend reading the book as well!
This class was tough.
Course Overview:
This course is challenging but it also serves as the backbone of many statistics courses. I would suggest student to thoroughly learn the materials as it can be very useful in later studies.
Course highlights:
The highlights of this course was to learn how many theories of stochastic process can be applied to different fields of statistics such as gambling or insurance. Many statistics major would find this course to be very applicable to the materials they will be learning in the future.

Be sure to treat this course very seriously and have a good schedule on studying this course. This course can be hard to follow if one were to fall behind. So make sure to attend every lecture and ask as many questions as possible.

Course highlights:
Python coding knowledge for homework assignments that force you to learn about python. Quizzes every week, half of home is not mandatory, while other half is.

Advice for students:
Do not slack. Optional homework sets apart the students who care and the students that don't. If you do the optional, you will do good in this course. Touch up on Python before taking the class.
