    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I had no idea how much one could learn about stream ecology (river ecology) but the format of teaching from Professor Even made this course not only interesting but challenging in a good way. I did not only learn about rivers, but new ways of studying and learning. He pushes you to a new limit academic wise but ties it in to how you can use it in the real world.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was the professor and TA, lecture and section have separate material to learn but in the end it all wraps around. The professor was truly there to help you learn, I enjoyed how at the beginning of each lecture he would quickly review the last lecture. In section the TA knew the material very well and again would help with anything. I learned how rivers formed and the food source for the biota and why certain biota lived in a certain area of the stream. I also learned from section how we can restore the mistakes a humans and keep rivers in good conditions for natural life.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are taking this course review your slides! Memorize everything and write down everything the professor says.
