Not too easy. Not too difficult.
This was probably one of my favorite classes here at UCSB. Armbruster cares so deeply for his students and the subject. He is a great lecturer and really connects with students.
I learned a lot about Chicano history from this course. He presented the material in such interesting ways that it was a fun class to go too. He also led a discussion during lecture at times and let students discuss very personal matters, they usually related to the subject and wanted to connect it to the material. Armbruster did get very emotional at times while teaching, but it made the class more worth while. We learned about Chicano history on a spectrum and he also connected it to UCSB, which made the subject even more appealing.
