Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because the material is presented clearly and Dr. Price makes the challenging material interesting. Also, the grading is fair and you are giving two grading options at the beginning of the course.

    Course highlights:

I learned everything I needed to be very successful in the first half of organic chemistry. Also, I learned the study skills necessary to be successful in any chemistry class that I take in the future. This course was the first that I went to office hours every week and learned that that really does pay off.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you plan on taking this course make sure you attend all the lectures. Also do the practice problems in the textbook and on the old exams. Do a little work everyday and you will not be overwhelmed at all. Lastly, don't hesitate to go to office hours to ask for help!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The course is challenging, but completely doable if you put in the effort. This class provides a solid foundation for those in the STEM field. Joseph is a professor who really wants to help his students.

    Course highlights:

Aside from the mounds of information that I plastered into my brain, this class really taught me to manage my time, and to study efficiently. You cannot study the night before a midterm or exam and expect to do well. To master the course, it takes time and effort.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the book problems and don't take ALEKS too lightly. Doing the problems trains your brain to become better at the topic and only helps you. Study in advance and go to office hours! Professors only want to help you.
