Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Great introduction to the narratives of American history you don't usually hear in school!

    Course highlights:

I learned how to see history from more than one perspective, and that what is important in history is dependent on the perspective of the viewer, and how to look critically at history from multiple perspectives.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention in class, and take notes!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course for anyone desiring an intro-level ethnic studies course. This is a great way to learn another side of American history that you wouldn't normally discover in an American history class.

    Course highlights:

The greatest highlight was learning an alternative narrative to American history. Learning at an introductory level the Asian American view of American history was a very eye-opening and insightful experience, and helped me see the issue of race today in the perspective of history.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The reading is very helpful, but more importantly you should take notes in class and pay attention in class, this will help you succeed
