    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I love this course! This course has really made me think about women of color in a different way. The hardships in which they had to survive through are extremely fascinating to learn about. I love how Professor Miller-Young is so interactive with her students and she really likes to hear everyone out on ideas and opinions. Overall, this course is amazing and extremely recommended for those wanting to lean about hardships in the women of color communities.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the readings and the class discussions. The readings, although fairly long, are extremely interesting and I like how it not only focuses on what is happening today but also the back story behind the oppression of the women of color. Also, the class discussions become very engaging. They cause you to really think about the views of others and see how other people feel about a certain topic or image that is showed in class. It is an opportunity to freely talk about your personal views which I find extremely gratifying.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to always do the readings and go to section discussions. The readings will have quizzes and although she will not give them all the time you never know when she will not and for section discussions attendance is required but either way it is a good idea to go to them because they are a great way to talk to your peers about something you found interesting or something you had trouble understanding.
