    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you put in the time O-chem is doable. Know your mechanisms and make flash cards.

    Course highlights:

Learning how compounds/molecules interact was very cool to me.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make flash cards! Look at them before you go to bed, even if its for a few minutes.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would not recommend this class with Gainer. The pace is very fast, the exams are incredibly hard compared to Bruice. You will be expected to learn a lot more and memorize a lot more than Bruice's exam. If you're looking to get an A in the class, I do not recommend taking Gainer, unless you're ready to work your butt off even more than you need to.

    Course highlights:

You do learn a lot, since you'll be expected to if you want to do well on the exams. So that's the bright side. Gainer is a pretty nice person and his lectures are okay.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are taking Gainer, then you must go to every single lecture. Be prepared to study ahead of time, do the book problems, and read the book. Trust me, you will not pass if you don't read the book. There are no old exams, so be prepared to study hard and be able to do the hardest of book problems.
