Not too easy. Not too difficult.
It is a required course for most B.S. Biology majors, including all in the MCDB department. It was a difficult class and Thrower can be an uninspiring speaker at times. He is very clear with his presentation of course objective, but you have to work to get the grade you want.
I learned tons about DNA and how it is and has been studied. An emphasis on historical experiments and the methods used to carry them out has helped me see how I may make breakthroughs in research myself someday.

Go to class, print slides before class and take notes on them during class, don't bother with the textbook but read the recommended posted .pdfs posted on gauchospace.
